Adventure & experiential based programming for youth with learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder or low self-esteem.

Using a variety of outdoor activities, our Wilderness Challenge Program assists youth in devloping the following:

  • effective goal setting
  • personal responsibility
  • problem solving tools
  • peer-peer relationships
  • adult-peer relationships
  • healthy life choices
  • communication skills
  • leadership skills
  • situational conflict resolution skills

The WCP offers an environment in which youth can build the healthy social skills that are critical in the development of their sense of self-worth.

The primary objective is to address barriers to personal success through group and individual exploration and to involve participants in activities that will help build self-esteem and confidence.

Each program provides outdoor learning environments with a high instructor to student ratio. Program sites, locations and fees vary. Please refer to schedule for more details.

All of the programs are run in a manner which requires youth to fully participate in all of the tasks and responsibilities presented to them.
